Branding portraits for the freelancers' advocate

Elina Jutelyte contacted me about a photoshoot for some new branding portraits. She is based in Belgium and runs the Freelance Business Community, where she helps freelancers master core business skills. So her branding needs to appeal to entrepreneurs, creatives, coaches, freelancers, and other thought leaders. Her photos need to blend professional polish with authentic personality. She needs to be visible and credible.

We’ve known each other for a while, so Elina reached out on LinkedIn. She was after a good mix of shots – some more traditional stuff, of course, but she also likes getting creative. Music to my ears! πŸ˜‰

We looked for a location where we could move around to different spots and get different looks. If we’re building a set of images someone will use for all their branding needs, we need variety. I’m always open to people suggesting locations if they know somewhere. Or at least a type of location that fits with their brand and personality, then I can come up with some ideas too.

We mixed things up with different outfits, relaxed and more posed looks, daylight and studio lighting; and ended up with a whole bunch of images Elina can choose from for all her marketing and comms. Like this LinkedIn post, for example.

Follow me or Elina on LinkedIn.

Check out or join her Freelance Business Community.

And big thanks go out to the Faculty Club for allowing us to shoot at their fantastic location.
